For the 2017 edition of CARPATHIAN MTB EPIC, the 4-day EPIC and the 1-day Challenge are both SOLO events. Each rider is required to go through the registration process.

*The standard price for the 4-day EPIC race includes the event services detailed in The Experience, the race pack, basic insurance, transport from the Race Village to the start line of the first stage, dinner parties from Thursday to Saturday, the farewell lunch on Sunday and the recovery meals for each race day starting on Friday. Upgrades are available for purchase separately, during the registration process. Accommodation in the Race Village, Cheile Gradistei – Fundata Resort, is sold as a 3-night pack, from Thursday to Sunday, breakfast included, starting from 50 Euro per person, per pack. The accommodation pack can be purchased only through the registration form.
**The standard price for the 1-day Challenge race includes the event services detailed in The Experience, the race pack, basic insurance, the recovery meal and farewell lunch on Sunday. Upgrades are available for purchase separately, during the registration process, including the dinner party on Saturday. Accommodation in the Race Village, Cheile Gradistei – Fundata Resort, is not available for the participants registered in the 1-day Challenge.
CARPATHIAN MTB EPIC is a challenging SOLO event open to both professional and amateur / hobby riders. The minimum age required to enter either the 4-day EPIC or the 1-day Challenge is 19 years of age on the first day of racing.
We strongly advise participants to have a full medical checkup one month or less prior to arriving at the race. It is every rider’s responsibility to ensure that they have acquired sufficient riding experience and have reached the necessary fitness level to participate. All riders are required to sign a waiver form at the race office as part of the race pack pick-up procedure.

The Elite category is reserved for UCI registered riders.
Please make sure that you read, understand and agree to the official race documents in relation to your entry and participation. Entering the race carries your inherent consent of the race rules, terms & conditions and the refund & cancellation policy described in the Rule Book and in the sections found below.
All transfer solicitations must take place before the 1st of August 2017 and be submitted through the official Contact page. Please be aware of the following information when soliciting a transfer to another event:
As a result of the transfer, any personalized items part of the race pack, such as the race number, will be lost & replaced by non-personalized items.
All transfer solicitations must take place before the 1st of August 2017 and be submitted through the official Contact page. If the request is validated, a non-refundable 30 Euro fee must be paid no later than the 4th of August 2017 for the transfer procedure to take place. Please note that all upgrades are transferable only as part of the whole entry and not as separate entities.
As a result of the transfer, any personalized items part of the race pack, such as the race number, will be lost and the receiving rider will obtain only non-personalized items.
Cancellation is possible under strict terms. All solicitations must be sent no longer than the 1st of August 2017 through the official Contact page. Cancellation requests received after the aforementioned date will be denied, due to contractual terms set with event suppliers of services and accommodation. If a cancellation is validated, the following refund conditions will apply:

Please note that entries paid for the 2017 edition of CARPATHIAN MTB EPIC cannot be transferred for the 2018 edition of the event.
If the organizers cancel an entry or disqualify a participant as a result of race rules being breached, no refund will be payable. By entering the race, all participants adhere that in the case of an “Act of God” that forces the organizers to cancel the event, entry fees will not be refunded.
Optional race upgrade services purchased are neither refundable nor transferable, by themselves. Nevertheless, in case we are able to sell the optional race upgrades to another rider, and the entry cancellation was approved, we will refund the amount, minus a 15% administrative / cancellation fee, applicable to the total sum of the optional race upgrades.
