— Thank you for taking an interest in joining Carpathian MTB Epic, a truly unique and challenging stage race, set in one of the last genuinely wild regions in Europe, the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. The registration process is straightforward and is being covered through the Riders Club system (http://ridersclub.ro) & MPG Timing, official MyLaps partner.

Please make sure that you read, understand and agree to the official race documents in relation to your entry and participation. Entering the race carries your inherent consent of the race rules, terms & conditions and the refund & cancellation policy described in the Rule Book and in the Rules and Regulations page.

Entry fees

— Special prices are available on demand for resident riders, living in Romania. Discounts are offered through the regional development programme for mass sport events, implemented by the ProAm Events foundation. The number of discounted entries are limited to 50. Discounts are offered on a “first-come, first-serve” basis and apply only for the Standard entry price of the 4-day EPIC race (without upgrades). Please get in touch through the Contact page, before you register.

Discount offers for cycling clubs affiliated with National Federations and also for large groups of riders are available. Please get in touch through the Contact page.

All-inclusive rider package

4-day EPIC

Carpathian MTB Epic offers a full-service mountain bike stage race experience. We cover everything from accommodations in the Olympic level Race Village to nutrition & meal plans, complete race services on site and on course and top it all with a high quality relaxation & entertainment programme.

Standard entry package covers*:

  • 3 nights of accommodation (1-4 Aug.) in the Olympic level resort, at Cheile Gradistei Fundata
  • Full meal plan (breakfast, recovery meals, dinner) and the farewell buffet party
  • Nutrition zone points throughout the race
  • Race services (medical assistance, bike wash, mechanical assistance, timekeeping, GPS tracking, Chill-out zone etc.), all described in the Packages & Race Services section
  • Pro cycling jersey and finisher medal

*Upgrades are available for purchase separately, during the registration process. This includes extended accommodation options and optional race services, such as massage, premium bike mechanical service etc. All upgrades for the 4-day EPIC race are described in the Packages & Race Services section.

1-day Challenge

Riders joining us for the 1-day Challenge are provided with all the necessary array of services to enjoy the race and make the best out of their experience.

Standard entry package covers*:

  • The farewell buffet party, on Sunday
  • Race services (medical assistance, bike wash, basic mechanical assistance, timekeeping, Chill-out zone etc.), all described in the Packages & Race Services section
  • Nutrition points throughout the race
  • Official T-shirt and finisher medal

*Upgrades are available for purchase separately, during the registration process. This includes optional race services, such as massage. All upgrades for the 1-day Challenge race are described in the Packages & Race Services section.

Payment plan

— Registration for the 2019 edition of Carpathian MTB Epic can be accessed through a balanced payment plan that eliminates the up front payment of the total entry fee. We are here to help you establish a personalised plan, based on the following considerations:

  • The payment plan is available to riders registering before the 31st of March. All solicitations made after the aforementioned date will be considered, yet cannot be guaranteed.
  • 40% of the entry fee is required as a first deposit, with the remaining 60% to be payed in a maximum of 3 instalments, with payment dates to be established with each individual rider. The final instalment must be payed no later than the 1st of July 2019. The entry is validated only after all payments have been made.
  • All instalment payments will incur an additional 2% processing fee.
  • In case you will request a refund prior to the payment of all the instalments, you will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total payments made to date. If all the payments have been made, the standard refund policy, described here, will be applied.

  • 1. STEP 1 - Login or Create a new Riders Club account

    Entries can be accessed on the Riders Club registration platform. Registration link is provided above, at the top of the page, once registrations open.

    You will be required to create a Riders Club registration account if you do not have one already. Please note that if you have participated in past editions of Carpathian MTB Epic or any Riders Club mountain bike events, you already have an account and are no longer required to create one. If this is the case, you can login to your account with the e-mail and password you used during the creation process.

    The creation process of the Riders Club account requires you to validate your e-mail – you will receive a validation link as soon as you create the account (please check SPAM folder). If you did not receive the validation link, please get in touch with us through the official Contact page. Clicking on the account validation link will grant you access to the entry form, in Step 2.

  • 2. STEP 2 - Register for the event

    Registration for the event can be accessed. Please enter all the required details in the Entry form and choose any upgrades you require. Everything you need to know about what is included as Standard and what is offered as optional upgrade is described in the Packages & Race Services section.

  • 3. STEP 3 - Entry summary & Payment

    In the final page of the registration process, please check that all details regarding your entry are correct, including the optional upgrades, if you selected any.

    You can go ahead and pay online through PayU, one of the largest payment platforms in Europe, or make a request to pay through bank transfer. In case you decide to pay through bank transfer, you will be contacted by one of our sales representatives in 48 hours.

  • 4. STEP 4 - Entry & Payment validation

    Once payment is validated, you will receive an e-mail containing your entry summary / optional upgrades you selected during registration. Full entry participant lists will be made available at least 2 weeks prior to the event. For any questions related to your presence at the event, leave us a message through the official Contact page.
