If you have been expecting to enjoy in Romania the same organization and atmosphere belonging to the famous international cycling competitions, to face incredible competitive challenges that will fully satisfy your passion for this sport, to most proudly wear the official multi-stage jersey, now the Carpathian MTB Epic 2018 multi-stage race comes to meet all these desires.
The event to be held in the Southern Carpathians during August, 16-19, 2018, brings great news for cyclists. Joko Vogel, the world-renowned Swiss multi-stage and ultra-cycling event organizer, joined the Organizing Committee of Carpathian MTB Epic!
Joko Vogel, from Zürich, is the co-founder of SWISS EPIC, the famous multi-stage international competition held in Switzerland, part of the Cape Epic MTB Series, which includes two more world-famous races: Absa Cape Epic, in South Africa, and The Pioneer, in New Zealand. Joko is co-founder and organizer of the world’s largest ultra-cycling competition TORTOUR, organized in the Swiss Alps, which challenges the participants with an extreme and continuous road cycling experience for two days.
His passion is cycling and sport in general, both from the perspective of the participant and that of the organizer. Joko is a co-initiator and organizer of the UCI Cyclocross World Championship to be held in Switzerland in 2020.
We enjoy the trust offered by Joko Vogel and we welcome him in the Carpathian MTB Epic team!
